How to learn English by watching movies

Learning English with movies fails when the unit of work is the film. Make it the scene, then the line, and the same evening produces real speaking practice.

Thirty seconds repeated is a session. A whole film is an evening with nothing to show for it.
Subtitles on for the first pass, off for every pass after.
Take the quiet scenes over the loud ones. Shouting and action cover the consonants you came for.
Say the line before you judge it. A line that reads easy is often the one that trips the tongue.
