  105. The source of the entire universe.8:08
  106. And he can only imagine the majesty of the spirit that lived within.8:10
  107. Hello?8:27
  108. Wake up down there.8:29
  109. The view from the blue sky.8:34

  114. I...8:48
  115. I've been sitting here way too long.8:48
  116. So, what brings you here, Crow?8:54
  117. You don't know?8:57
  118. I mean, you are the one who creates...8:58
  119. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, I know.9:00
  120. You want me to unthink the cold.9:01
  121. Exactly.9:05
  122. So, your friends pick you to be their big hero because of what?9:06
  123. Your sweet voice and pretty feathers?9:10
  124. Well, I'm more than just a voice with feathers.9:13
  125. You better be.9:15
  126. For their sake.9:17
  127. Look, I'm enjoying our little chat, but back on Earth, those friends of mine are getting colder.9:18
  128. But I can't unthink what's already been thunk.9:24
  129. That's a rule I thunk up.9:25
  130. Is thunk a word?9:28
  131. Your thinking is what got me in this hot mess in the first place.9:30
  132. Hot?9:34
  133. That's it?9:35
  134. Hold on to this branch.9:36
  135. Branch?9:38
  136. Whoa.9:39
  137. Now, watch in amazement as I make it burst into flames.9:40
  138. It's hot!9:45
  139. You're dying right, it's hot!9:47
  140. It's fire!9:49
  141. Well, don't just stand there.9:52
  142. Go!9:54
  143. Hurry!9:54
  144. And whatever you do, you must not let that torch burn out.9:56

  151. I tried to try, don't look.10:25
  152. They know what that means.10:26
  153. Because I know how attracted you are to my rich, mesmerizing.10:26
  154. You be quiet, mister!10:29
  155. So?10:30
  156. You're right.10:31
  157. You will not hear me say another word about my inviting golden orbal.10:32
  158. Would you be quiet?10:35

  166. I thought you might need some help.10:55
  167. Help?10:57
  168. No, sir.10:58
  169. When the one who creates everything by thinking heard my song, she stopped her thinking and gave me this amazing gift of fire.10:59
  170. Look at it.11:06
  171. Can you feel it?11:07
  172. It's warm!11:08
  173. Whoa.11:10
  174. And so, the show will go on.11:11
  175. Ow!11:14
  176. My feathers!11:15
  177. My feathers!11:16
  178. Oh, no!11:20
  179. The fire!11:21
  180. It's gone!11:23
  181. I failed.11:28
  182. I failed everyone.11:30
  183. You're wrong, Crow.11:35
  184. You will not give up.11:37
  185. You will do whatever you can, make any sacrifice to save us.11:39
  186. You really think that?11:44
  187. No, that's what Skunk said.11:46
  188. I figured you found some place warm and we're never coming back.11:48
  189. But Skunk, she believes in you.11:51
  190. She does?11:54
  191. All right, Crow.12:02
  192. Let's see what you're really made of.12:04
  193. Yeah, well, whatever it is, it's flammable.12:06
  194. Crow!12:10
  195. No!12:11
  196. Come back!12:12
  197. No, no, no, don't do it, Crow!12:12

  201. Look!12:27
  202. What is it?12:38
  203. It's so warm.12:41

  211. Moth, you're okay!13:04
  212. I did not fly into the sun and you should have seen Crow.13:05
  213. Oh, he was like...13:09
  214. wait, where did he go?13:11
  215. Oh, oh, oh.13:14
  216. It's car.13:21
  217. Fire.13:24
  218. Crow?13:26
  219. Are you okay?13:27
  220. Oh, oh, oh.13:44
  221. Skunk, is that you?13:49
  222. Crow, I'm so sorry.13:57
  223. It's okay.14:00

  225. I'm not talking about that.14:05
  226. I like your smell.14:10
  227. It's kind of earthy, you know, in a good way.14:12
  228. Really?14:19
  229. I should be the one to apologize.14:21
  230. I've been a real jerk.14:24
  231. Acting like I was better, better than you, better than everyone.14:26
  232. Well, looks like I got what I deserved.14:31
  233. You're not gonna stop singing, right?14:38
  234. I used to have perfect pitch.14:43
  235. Nobody's perfect.14:46
  236. Okay, Crow.14:57
  237. Now, let's see what you're really made of.14:59
  238. Oh, what's happening?15:05
  239. Crow, your feathers!15:13
  240. Look!15:17
  241. Whoa, my colors.15:19
  242. They've been in there all along.15:23

  244. It looks so good when you're up high.15:35
  245. The blues come round, they won't get me down.15:39
  246. I can make you.15:42
  247. What do you think?15:45
  248. I actually like your new voice.15:47
  249. It's kind of earthy.15:50
  250. Yeah, you know, in a good way.15:51
  251. Bravo, maestro!15:55
  252. Hey, why'd you stop?15:56

  257. I'm not sly like a fox.16:19
  258. Don't bite like a flea.16:21
  259. Or, gradually, you would never run away from me.16:23
  260. But think of all the things they could never see.16:27
  261. It's better when you can fly.16:31
  262. Oh, the view from the blue sky.16:34

  274. A hit rock bottom that I just don't know.17:29
  275. Oh, it is better when you can fly.17:35
  276. I'm excited to share my new animated short film with you, Crow the Legend.18:00
  277. Inspired by a Native American legend, it's the origin story of the crow, who once had beautiful plumage and a clear singing voice and became known today for its black18:06
  278. feathers and calling voice.18:15
  279. I voiced the part of crow and wrote an original song for this movie.18:17
  280. The story is about inclusion.18:21
  281. It's about self -sacrifice for the community and how we are all connected.18:23
  282. We, Baobab Studios, Native Americans in Philanthropy, and my studio, Get Lifted Films, felt that these themes are universal and perhaps especially relevant today.18:28
  283. One of the cast and our co -producer, Sarah Eagleheart, taught us on this journey the little -known history of many Native American youth being forced into reeducation camps, where18:38
  284. they were forbidden to tell their stories like this, whose roots are indigenous to this continent.18:48
  285. We feel it's important to share this beautiful story with the world.18:53
  286. I was excited to share it with other amazing talent including Oprah, Constance Wu, Diego Luna, Liza Koshy, Ty Sheridan, and Native American rights crusaders, Sarah Eagleheart and Randy Edmonds.18:57
  287. As my character Crow says in the movie, check it out, I hope you'll dig it.19:12
